    They happen. Why wait til tomorrow. Some of the big auto parts stores have a reader that you can use in the parking lot.

    Apparently its against the law to do that in Cali now. I used to go to autozone and do that but they wont let you anymore.


    My friend at work always has his scanner in the car, ill just use it tomorrow.

    Just read it. Hawaii and California are doing it. If u had a Cobb AP you could use that too. I hope it's nothing. Is it running poorly?

    Illegal to check codes? That's just as stupid as requiring an attendant to pump your gas in New Jersey.

    2 codes-

    P0301 and P0304

    Cylinder 1 and cylinder 4 misfire


    car has CAI and HKS BOV(I didnt put either on and stock replacements enroute)

    Would these 2 "mods" cause these codes?

    They could. Has it been tuned? A tune is definetly necessary with a CAI.

    What kind of CAI does your car have? Some need to be tuned for.

    Install the stock BPV, they are best on Subarus.

    It passed the sniffer test a week ago so I doubt its tuned.

    Passing the sniffer test has almost no relevance in this case.
