Since it's a new car, take it in to the dealer.

Why are you out of warranty? Have you modified the car? If so, how? That may be a clue about the problem.

The warranty is transferable and the driveline is covered for 60K, whereas some emissions components are covered for longer still depending on your location.

If the car is not modified I would suggest at least trying to get it covered under warranty, as this will simply be the cheapest way to go if you need any parts at all.

Are there any mods to the car? Any changes you've made recently? Other symptoms? When did it start doing this?

Where did you buy the car?

Just like SD_GR said it's still under the drivetrain warranty take it to a Subaru dealer have them figure it out.

Propably your Air Flow Sensor is damaged and your car runs in safe mode. Try replacing it with an other (same one of course) and see what happens.
