Probably your boost control solenoid is fubbered or the car is running in safe mode. You can search here for directions on cleaning & testing the BCS.

Yeah, that means it is the computer not the BCS. However, why it is potentially doing that is much more complicated.

Is it throwing any CEL codes?

no, no CEL's. The only code that has been removed by the tuner was the Fuel trim too lean code. I do have a TurboXS BOV, and whether it could've been leaking or not i dont know but i twisted it to adjust and disconnected the battery - good to go. for now. The car like i said runs 19psi which is relativly high boost correct? Could it have gone into limp mode or something from overboost?

I should've done one or the other but i was in a hurry.

    Oh, I'm glad you clarified.

I would guess it had nothing to do with the ECU and was the BOV. If it is leaking you won't make boost. Luckily that means it is back to being simple again. You need to get that BOV set up just right or put the stock one back on. I don't run one but there are directions around.

So the bov could be my whole problem? Its been on the car since april, its made it run a little rich but nothing terrible, could it have just went out of adjustment? I really appreciate your help. I'm so glad my turbo is ok!

bov could be the problem. take it apart, clean the piston, lube it with gun or sewing machine oil, make sure there are 4 washers for a 2.0L or 5 washers for a 2.5L and the long spring if your venting to atmosphere. That should fix any issue with the BOV

as for limp mode, it's a definite possibility. You should take it back to your tuner and let him see what it's actually doing on the dyno.

Are there any other things it could be? The bov seems to be adjusted correctly.

The car has just recently started doing this. I've owned it since april and although its given me problems, making boost was never a problem. Its 90degrees here, could it be getting hot?

TBE, SPT intake, stg 2 tune from Romraider i believe? a local guy did it for me. The tune has never caused an issue, what would be making it bring up one now?

Could it have something to do with my flashing security light? flashes twice every other second since i had a new key made for it? (I searched.... and searched... and searched... NO SOLUTION)

Those are pretty high boost levels with just a stage 2 tune on those mods the guy would have had to have been pretty careful tuning for that. I'm wondering if your car is going into limp mode, but for some reason isn't doing it's usual christmas light display on your guage cluster.

You don't have any way to datalog do you?

its sounding like a limp mode to me, because the car runs right for a while if you do an ECU reset. If it were a leak or BCS, wouldn't it run bad all the time even after an ecu reset? I do not have a way to datalog, unless it doesn't require much?

no cel's, the only one that has been removed from the computer was the Fuel Trim too lean code because it just wouldn't go away no matter what i did.

This is where i kick myself for buying a car that someone else modded.. sometimes i just wanna put the for sale sign in the back window.
