Electrical problem. Finally fixed. Thanks to everyone

I previously posted about my car not starting and have determined it to be an electrical problem.

After turning the key to the "On" position and then to "off" and out of the ignition, I still get power to some things. Fuel pump for one, which will make a ticking noise. When the key is on, I don't get the buzz from the pump though, but it still get power.

And my windows for another. Not sure what else has power.

When I pull the Neg batt cable, everything is fine until I try to start the car again. To me, it's nearly impossible to make a wrong plug connection. Not to mention, there aren't really any plugs to unplug to do the TGV delete. I only did the 2 motors and sensors on the TGV housing and another plug at the front of the manifold.

This all started when my wife accidently tried to start the car whithout the intake manifold, intake, inlet pipe, intercooler and all hoses were off.
Is it possoble that something in the ECU is bad from trying to start the car in that state?

    Thanks for the help,
    Matt

I'd suggest reading on Nasioc, perhaps even asking there. I understand that if things are not done correctly one can really screw up their ECU. However, your best bet might be to put it on a flatbed, bring it to a shop and have a professional look at it. Try Nasioc first. Some good technical threads there.

I finally got it. I missed the ground wire on the drivers side to the manifold. Thank for all the help, I really appreciate it.
