trans prob

I was goin Down the road in 2nd i I think then heard a loud knocking sounded like an engine knock and then the trans locked up and stopped me fast I just put in ra gears and transfer case and rear diff not even a year ago now it seems not to pull in first at all but will still run with a bad rattle sound clutch still is fine does ne one have sugestions its a 03 wrx 5 speed
