Why does my WRX clicks when I start driving...?

Hey guys, I've been driving around with my 2010 WRX for almost 2 months now And I've been wondering: When I've been park for more than an hour there's a click that's heard from under the car when I'm starting driving and I'm at about 10 km/h forward.
Any Ideas what it is... I'm just curious

are you able to locate where the sound is coming from?

You might as well take her to the dealership since it's a 2010... better safe than sorry

I think that's what I'm going to do just to make sure... I was just curious. you can barely hear it from in the car, its a little louder from outside since it comes from under the car... where exactly I cant tell you but it clicks only when I'm going forward after about 10km/h like if something was engaging... or maybe its the handbrake...?

i don't know you are hearing one click/clunk just when you get going, or a repeating noise but...
on my 2010 sedan, I hear one clunk and after doing some reading around, It was mentioned that it is likely a self-test of the VDC.

Yep, think this is probably it. Think it's in the manual too

This. Mine does this and I have a 2010. Pretty certain it is normal.

Mine does this too and it's an '03. I've always wondered what it was. Doesn't seem to affect anything though.

OK well everything is fine after all! Indeed its nothing alarming... normal subaru sounds apparently. I went to the dealer to check it out and the mechanics told me that mostly its sti owners that are hearing lots of noises... it happens on wrx also but a lot less frequently. The mechanics agreed that it might just be a test of the vdc, the differential, or maybe the breaks that are releasing... BTW, my break in is finally done and I'm beginning to feel the car "shaking" a bit more: pretty good feeling when you're at idle! I got to say I really like my WRX!
