    Tow hook cover removal ?

Anyone ever try removing the front tow hook plastic cover on a 2010 WRX (I'm guessing similar to 08+ WRX's?).

I couldn't get mind off despite trying to pry it off with a screwdriver as per the manual - I'm worried I'm going to break something?

Car works great, just thought the tow hook would make a good canoe tie down point on the front.

Yea I just took mine off to check it out. Just stick your head under and look. Any luck on finding a hook for it though?

Isn't there a hook in the tool pouch?

I bought my car used so I don't think I have one. Do you know of any good aftermarket ones?

It should be under the rear carpet in the trunk by the spare tire, it screws into the car after you pop that cover off the bumper
