    stripped coil pack bolt in block, What do i do?

    like i said, the housing where the bolt goes into the block is stripped and i cant get a bolt in and its my dd what do i do?

    How does that even happen? That's a teenie tiny bolt....

    It would have to be drilled and tapped to get another one in there, but you'd have a hell of a time doing that with the engine in the car. If the coil pack doesn't move too much when you wiggle it and it's fully on the plug, you can probably get away with driving it, but you're going to have to check it every once in a while and if it pops off, you'll know pretty much immediately.

    As for a short term solution to the problem, I have absolutely no ideas there.

    i dont know how it happens but somehow the hole is stripped and i cant even get the bolt to some what lock in there.

    Do you think the stealership could fix this problem for me?

    not sure if anyone is still keeping up with this post, but the dealership charged me $100 and they tapped it and made the original size screw go back in.
    My stupid mistake, but glad i got it resolved!
