Checker or O'Reilly's (whatever is closest to you) will take it and recycle it for you. If there isn't one close to you, most landfill's have a recycling center for hazardous chemicals, which oil is.

I was under the impression (at least in NY) that any place that works on vehicles is required by law to take used oil. Personally, I take mine to the Valvoline that's on my way to/from work.
