    1998 wrx import wiring issue with the mass air flow sensor

    Some donkey before i purchased it decided to cut off the plug to the air mass meter??

    It has been spade connected to the terminals on the air mass meter but im thinking they are not connected in the right order as the car has suddenly started mis-firing and majorly overfuelling!!

    Any ideas on what wires connect to what terminals??
    Ive searched for hours lookng on sites at wiring diagrams but nothing seems to match my car?

    I am not quite sure what to do with the wiring to the mass air meter, but I'm pretty sure a mechanic can help resolve your inquiry. Hope this helps.

    If the car ran before you re-connected the MAF wiring, some other means were used to measure air flow. Does the car use a different ECU, is it modified, or?
