    Is this a good clutch?

Hi the clutch in my 02 wrx wagon doesn't engage smoothly. I dont know if it's a warped flywheel or something else but im looking for a spare to have on hand when it goes. I'm an agressive driver so I know it's inevitable. With that said i would like to put a stage three in so i wont have to worry about it for a while....

An aggressive driver with a StageIII clutch would likely be replacing his transmission soon afterwards. Your only concern should be the torque capacity - "live within your means" type thing.

General rule in wrx's have your clutch be the weak link. lot easier and cheaper to replace than gearbox or dif's. Unless you have really high horsepower you don"t need more than a heavy duty stg.1 clutch.

    Ok... makes sense...

So. OEM from the dealer rather than autozone or napa?

    Any recomendations on brand?

    Thanks..

I'd say go with an organic clutch it'll last a little longer and arent that much more expensive than a normal clutch. I think you can get one from the dealer too, good luck and hope everything works out for ya!

I just replace my clutch in my 03 @ near 80k miles. A lot of people seemed to recommend Exedy - seems to be good quality/price.
