    Hi,

    I have an 02 and check engine light is on. says I need bank 1 sensor. I believe that would be the front? Money being pretty tight right now I can't really fork over the extra cash and get a factory one. Can you suggest what brand sensor to look for? Possiibly even a part #? Thanks.

    What is the exact code? If you HAVE to buy an aftermarket sensor search for Bosch brand sensors..However I can say this..I have seen brand new aftermarket 02 sensors throw the same code on Subarus..I've said it before and I will say it again...Subarus are extremely touchy with certain aftermarket componants...Axles, Ignition componants, thermostats, certain sensors etc etc...
