    Flat tire after 3K miles

Hi all - I have a 2010 WRX and unfortunately got a nail in the sidewall of one tire after just under 3K miles. I know that I'm not supposed to mix and match tires on the AWD, but would replacing all four or shaving a replacement be necessary on such low miles?

    Thanks!

Do the other 3 tires have under 3k like the rest of the car. In that case I wouldn't think you'd have enough tire wear for it to be an issue just getting a new tire.
Someone who knows more that me, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you've been driving normal then there shouldn't be enough difference in wear over those 3k miles to need to replace all 4.

Yea, just get a new tire the same as the other 3 tires... shouldn't be much difference. Put it on the front, (open diff) should be easier on everything...
Ninja EDIT; Oh, the WRX has open diffs F & B so it shouldn't matter.
