Hey guys/girls. I have go a problem with my 95 sti wrx. I will be driving and put my foot down on the gas and it doesn't boost hard till it gets the revs up, it kind of surges a lil bit then just comes on real strong. It did it a few weeks ago then went away, and now it is back again.
Any ideas on what this could be? I was thinking maybe the coils or sparkplugs, but I have had them replaced no to many kms ago.
Cheers.

Boost control solenoid. Like a 3port or similar ?
Go take a look at grimmspeed.com
Might want to call Justin there. He may have a little insight on your car as your model isn't common at all on here.
You missed a question. What have u done to the car lately?

Yeah I'm in New Zealand mate so don't think I'll be making a huge toll call to America, ohh ok sweet, I'll have to ask a few mechanics what they think it is, seems to be getting a lot worse though.I changed the extractors a while back but put the original ones back on, but they moved the sensor in the exaust and was wondering if that has affected it in anyway, wasn't running like a bag of **** after getting all that done, only just happened several weeks after doing that to it.
I noticed my turbo is whistling quite loud now to for some reason.
wow, I fixed the problem I was having, don't know what it was that was going on, but I disconnected the battery for 24hrs and that resets the computer and stuff.
Got up this morning, took it for a drive and woot back in action. Glad I never took it to a mechanics to get looked at.
Cheers for your help anyway. Sure I'll be coming back here as long as I own a Subaru
