wrx 01 help ( Front Wheel Bearings )

Hi all back again with another problem with my wrx 01... I need to know which way do i need to undo the 32mm nut on front left hand so i can change my wheel bearings. I tried on the weekend and had difficulty undoing the nut maybe i need a breaker bar i don't know? and also which way to loosen the nut is it clockwise or anti- clockwise ?? as i have a squeaking noise when turning right hand corners without it being on full lock

Righty tighty, lefty loosey. Also the nut is tanged into place. You will have to undo that before backing the nut off.

Unless you have air tools... ... But yes get the longest breaker bar you can find..The spec on that axle nut is around 160 ft. lbs....plus years of corrosion and rust and whatnot....

Also I don't think the crown nut is reusable. By "tanged" I mean the nut has been indented to keep it from backing out. I use a thick screwdriver or punch to push the indention back up. Yeah if you don't have airtools eat your wheaties or grab an energy drink fo' sho!
