    first off, I have the bug-eye '02 WRX. I'm trying to replace the headlight bulbs for the first time ever. Turning the big round plastic guard is no problem. What I'm having huge issues with is the first step where you're supposed to press on the lock release and pull out the electrical connector. It looks like on either side of that lock release there are two nubs (I believe from the electrical connector) that should come out somehow but they are not when I press on the lock release. Maybe I'm missing something here and this is easier than I'm making it. Should I somehow be pulling on the tab of the lock release to get it over those two nubs?

    Any help on this would be appreciated.

    bump. I cann't believe no-one's ever replaced their headlight bulbs.
