    problem with idle?

hello everyone, i have been having a little problem with my wrx, when i just sit and let it warm up , the rpms start off around 1500, but then once its all warmed up, they will go up and down(not drastically), and when ever i give it gas to get it going, and i let off the gas, my rpms drop like to almost 0. A couple times the car has actually shut off on me. i thought it might be the iacv, but im not thinkin that as much anymore? any ideas on what it could be? thanks

sounds like you need to clean your idle control valve, thats what i had to do to mine.

Another possibility is a dirty MAF, which you should clean with an MAF cleaner.
