    help please :)

    Hey guys,

Just replaced the engine on my bugeye,
The car kinda "cuts-out" when i let it go on high rpm, the car goes good but when changing from 2nd to 3rd its kinds drops and picks up straight away... any ideas?

The engine light is on... i was told that i might need to just reset it and it should be sweet with out cutting out....

could that be true or am I looking at something more than just a reset?

If the CEL is on...pull the code...no sense in searching for something when the ECU could give you a hint.... Is this an automatic or manual? Did you do any engine mods or is this just a drop and swap? What mods are done to the vehicle?
