Jack Stand adapter

I will soon have to leave my rex on jack stands for a couple of days and am kinda weary of putting the pinch welds directly on the jack stands. I know i could put the stands parallel on the inside of the pinch welds but i'm also not sure of that. So, would it be worthwhile to make a reinforced pinch weld adapter so the car isn't just resting on the welds.

It would be about 5" long and 2.5" wide. with a 1/2" gap in the middle.
Made out of 1/4" steel tubing and sheet. It would also be completely welded.
I have all of this available. so it would be free.
Would it be necessary though?

And yes i did search here and other places i was just looking for opinion.

The pinch welds are perfectly fine jacking points on these "smaller" vehicles...However what I usually do is put jack stands under the rear pinch welds and the front jack stands under the "frame extenders" or sub-frame or whatever you like to call them...under the vehicle..This is my opinion at least...

The jack points are designed to hold the vehicle. There is no need for these.

lol. Thanks for the input guys. I may make these just so i have something to do considering i'm pretty much snowed in and bored.
