    Mass Air Sensor trouble

When I go to plug my mass air sensor in it shuts the engine down but when it's unplugged it runs fine. It does have a stumble to it at about 4500 rpms in 2nd, 3rd and 5th. I have no clue on how it even runs without a mass air being plugged in, please help!

Why did you disconnect it ?

Have you cleaned it with MAF cleaner yet ?

Another thing... the car should be OFF and battery disconnected when you play with that ****.

The car goes into safety/limp mode, still runs etc so if you break down in the middle of nowhere you can limp to a mechanic/home etc.

Do you know anyone in your area with a known to be good AFM to swap?
Do you have an oiled panel or pod filter?

Its a dodgy way to check if the AFM is working.
