I have a 2003 wrx which has made my life a little rough, but is there any for sure way to see if you have forged pistons without taking apart the block? I know its a stupid question, but its worth a shot.

Yeah its hard to say, why would you want to know anyway... you will only benefit from them if you planning high boost applications..
