My Build Date is 10/08 Should I be worried??

You wouldn't have thought twice about your car or have been worried about it if you didnt read all these negative posts... and please remember like i said before, the problem gets a little amplified on the forums. The % of failures isnt a huge number... I really dont know what it is but i imagine its a very low number...

Just drive your rex and enjoy it... If it breaks the dealer will fix it.. and while they fix it try to spin a bearing in that rental car...

So no you shouldnt be worried because if something does happen and there is not guarantee that it will, subaru will fix it... Why worry about what you cannot control?

EDIT > oh and FYI im pretty sure the motors that had the journal and bearing issues were june - august of 08

I saw the same dates, but it is still makes me nervous. Its just a crappy thing and i will deal with it if the time comes. I just was wondering if there was any new information around that I may not have seen! The knowledge of the collective is a lot larger than just what I can find.
