I tend to air on the side of caution, and say 18G territory would be as much as I'd personally go on the stock 2.5 WRX/FXT block. A 20G can be run, but for how long is up to the motor's health, how often it's pushed, and the quality of the tune.

ok it would be on the boarder line hun??? would a thicker head gasket lowering compression a bit make it any safer for this upgrade on stock internals??

Skimping on the turbo is not the way to go. Maybe try buying used or try using modded stockers for the injectors and buy this stuff used:

    big spearco tmic
    after market y pipe
    spt intake
    td6 20g
    grimmspeed 3port bc

Honestly I'm not sure where you you thought you could do all this for $2000. Even if all the parts were used you would be luck to do all that for 2g's.

I would research that turbo alittle more............sometimes you do get a great deal and sometimes you get what you pay for.

There's a reason that reputable 20G turbos come with a $1000+ pricetag new

You want the Blouch turbo; the advantage to using theirs over other TD05H-18Gs is that they use the TD06 compressor housing.

Yup, that gets my vote too. Call them for best pricing.
