    Exclamation 02 wrx cold start issue

    got a 02 wrx bone stock with a spt intake and heat shield on it. whenever i let the vehice sit for more that two days and then go to start it. It idles rough like its missing for the first 5 seconds then it smooths out and all is good. i have no check engine lights. any ideas where i should start?

    If it runs fine after warming up then do you really have a problem? You can try cleaning the MAF but its probably just the cold weather.

    its not really that cold out. just whenever i start it up after it sits overnight. misses for 5-10 sec then smooths out and all is good after that..

    Try cleaning the MAF and maybe doing general maintenance. Fuel filter,throttlebody/IAC valve cleaning,combustion chamber cleaning.....
