Help!! 02 rex overheating....

Hey fellas, need sum help! recently changed my radiator and thermostat and added new coolant. Drove it 10 miles, its was fine then started overheating slowly. Pulled into a gas station and coolant was leaking. Drove for one day then check engine lihht came on. Once i turn the car off, it would not start over. I had to reset the ecu and erase CEL. Car then started fine. Has anyone heard anything similar to this??

From where? If there's a leak, fix it.

You need to burp the system or it will overheat as you've described.

Please tell me the gauge wasnt up in the red area?...+1^ as mentioned fix the leak, burp the system and if the problem still persists hit us back...Did you happen to use an OEM thermostat from the dealer?

i have had the same problem lately, so i replaced the hose that was leaking coolant but my car is still running extremely hot and the turbo feels like it isn't boosting like it should. any suggestions?

You need to burp the system or it will overheat as you've described.
