    Supremely Confused with my 6speed

I am working on my 2004 WRX with 6speed and I found some interesting things... I think I found my neutral safety switch [the reason why I started this venture]. So correct me if this is wrong, but this is my NSS right?

Next, all three of the sensors' wires lead to a three way junction where they attach to a 6 pin connector, which is unplugged.

Also there is this mystery wire that was just ran through a couple of wires to stay up there and plug into itself.

    A little help please.

Why didn't you just stick with your original thread?
    Idle Problem

The main problem is the STI tranny and WRX tranny do not use the same wiring or sensors. You might want to get a hold of some factory manuals.

The second picture harness connector looks extremely similar to the one for the o2 Sensor...

I felt like that thread was for more my IACV/charging/idle problem. I was actually going to shoot a link over on that thread for this one too. Am I just going to have to splice wires with the appropriate connector? I am getting pretty fed up with this problem and I am about to just disable my CEL. I am just wondering how people have handled this issue in the past.

PS I have the factory service manuals, you hooked them up Ron.

Just find the manual for whatever year your tranny came out of. It will have the pinouts and location of all sensors and connectors. If your back up lights work and your speedo work just find the wrx brown connector for the speed sensor and swap in a wrx speed sensor for the STi one (as I understand it).

I checked today and back up lights are a no go. It looks like I got nothing from the tranny.
