super rupair/ leak

I went to super rupair today and they fixed my main rear seal. About when i got to work, i went straight there from the shop. I live in littleton, and the shop is about an hour away highway and some city roads with traffic. When i got to work my engine started to smoke white. It seemed to be coolant leaking and burning on the exhaust. Could they have caused this and would they fix it for free? It didn't leak coolant before i went to the shop today...

true, but i just went to further inspect the leak, while at work , and discovered they left the engine too far forward and the pully rubbed a whole in the radiator hose and caused a whole.

Then call them. They have a great reputation, and I'm sure they want to keep it that way. A hose is a cheap part to repair to maintain a positive reputation

i just hope the hole doesnt getter bigger... im going to cover the hose with duck tape for the ride up there...

duct tape (not duck tape) is designed to seal air ducts... so I wouldn't expect it to do well with pressurized hot water on one side, and a pulley rubbing on it on the other side....

i know it is duct tape, but i spelled it like the brand i bought... Also it didnt last very long, it lasted about 3 miles which was when i pulled up to my house from work. But good news so far, they came and towed my car back up to super rupair this morning and i will hear from them later on.

I wasn't insulting your verbage... I was only trying to make the point that duct tape is designed for air ducts.
