    Oil @ 150,000kms

I just bought a 2003 wrx wagon and notice I'm getting loosing a little oil between changes. Actually I'm just coming up to my first oil change since I bought it at 150,000kms.

The previous owner has used synthetic. I am thinking on continuing with Mobil 1, but debating on switching to the 10W30 due to the higher mileage on the car. Does anyone see an issue with this?

I see no issue with this. In fact if you are concerned about consumption and consumption is within "normal" but still high for your tastes, you can experiment with various oils and see which choice minimizes your consumption if you like. If consumption is above normal and there is a mechanical cause, then that's another issue and should be addressed mechanically (if at all).
