Will 04 WRX parts fit on a 06 WRX?

Hello everyone,

Please forgive my limited knowledge. We recently bought an 06 WRX. One night my husband apparently had amnesia, thought he was a rally car driver, and smacked it into a curb. Now, I found someone that has an 04 WRX that would be a great part car. It's the same color, it's 4 door, manual (which I think they all are?) and honestly looks VERY similar to my husbands. Question is, could we use it for parts or did they change everything drastically in those 2 years and my untrained eyes can't see it?

There were quite a few changes between the model years. Some parts will bolt right on, some parts may work with modification, and some parts are flat out different.

The larger question is what do you need to replace?

Thanks for replying. Well, so far definitely the front left lower control arm. It's looking like probably the 2 rims on the drivers side as well. The parts car is just something I considered since it's offered at a really good price.
