Block heater

I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice for installing a block heater cord in my 04 wrx. Thank you.

Purchase the kit that is designed for Subarus ( I believe its pretty inexpensive..$35 comes to mind but dont hold me to that)...Its simple...drain the coolant ( if you care to...lol) and pop out the core plug on the drivers side bottom of the engine block and install heater element....Its pretty straight forward..Other brands/kinds of heater may work also but not to sure...

Thanks EVOEATR, I had already purchased the kit but wasnt quite sure where I could find the core plug, or what steps to take. Thank you for your helpful information.
