is my turbo or engine damaged?

so driving home the other night i notice a very loud noise which happend to be my turbo spooling and not creating boost. i could not accelerate. i had no flashlight or tools so i didnt stop driving until i got in my driveway. after poping the hood i realized that the intercooler elbow came off the turbo. my car could hardly make it up the hills. it stalled a few times but i finally made it home. ill be fixing it tomorrow. is it possible that there is turbo or engine damage? there were some pretty steep hills on my 15 mile ride home.

Should be fine. Probably ran rich as crap though.

Like Donkey said, probably fine. You may want to check your spark plugs if it runs a little off when you put it all back together. Could have fowled a plug.
