Hi I've got a 2004 wrx and I'm about to get the transmission and rear diff oil changed. I've already got 5 qts of Subaru Extra S off Fredbeans for the gearbox but I was wondering what oil I should put in the rear diff?

Would Mobil 1 or Valvoline 75w90 be ok?
What about using the Extra S in the rear diff - does anyone use that?

I put Valvoline 75w90 in both my front trans and rear diff--it works fine.

Same goes in both. Pretty sure the stickies /\ cover that. Should say in the owners manual as well.
