    boost creep? or over boost?

I have had a issue with what I think is a boost issue.

First I should say my car is mostly stock only engine mod is a gutted stock up pipe and silencer delete.

I have noticed that around about 6k RPM it feels like I'm getting a lil extra uumph or a spike in boost till 6.5k RPM. I am just wondering if I should be concerned about this or is it no big deal oh and I have not gotten a CEL at all.

Sounds odd, your boost should be tapering off across those RPM. Do you have any way to measure boost?

You don't even have a boost gauge and you think you have a boost spike? This thread is going nowhere unless you have the ability to provide real data with a boost gauge.

because every time I hit 6k rpm it feels like the car gets a extra little bit of boost. Under WOT it feels like it pulls just a little harder from 6k to 6.5k, because I usually shift at 6.5k when im getting on the highway.

guages have known to be wrong.

Even if the gauge is off it will show the boost go up or down regardless. Not to mention most peoples "intuition" or "buttdynos" are generally more off than any gauge would be.......
