I am getting a weird noise close to the shift knob it sounds like two pieces of metal just hitting eachother like 2 pennies rubbing, but I have know idea what it is any ideas?
when I accelerate it gets louder, sometimes I can hear it and other times it makes no noise.
It sounds like it is coming straight from the shift knob but I am not 100% sure, what should I do.

its the stock shift knob, I just bought the car on Saturday.
