Newb ? re: windshield wiper fluid sprayer

Anybody know if the 2009 wrxs have a button for the windshield washer fluid sprayer? don't have the car with me. Got call from the wife saying that when she pulled back the windshield wiper arm, no fluid sprayed. Thanks in advance.

Read on a forum of a '04 WRX owner who tried to diagnose a windshield wiper fluid pump and found out he had to push the button for it to work. Voila, problem solved, funniest post I've read re: this stuff.

Isn't it a button on the end of the stick? I have an '02 though so not sure about the '09.

Ok cool. I'll let her know. It's the big button at the end of the stick that you pull back. Jus so used to jus pulling back the lever for some windshield washer goodness. Throwing in a button just messes up the flow....
