Do a compression test. you should be around 150 per each cylinder. If not then your rings are gone, but at least you'll know which one is the problem.

i think i fried my rings! 95 k on the wagon
was drivin a little heavy on the gas, got a major boost surge and the car shut off.
now there is very little power and i believe it is compression loss
i took my evolll big 16 g off and put stock back on and still 1/4 the boost
