Factory alarm and door locks

Two questions:

1. How do I activate the passive alarm in my '09 WRX? Manual says take it to a dealership to activate (um...no!). I've read that previous models that there is a plug behind the drivers sill but coulnd't find any deatails or if it even applies to new models.

2. Is there a feature that will lock and unlock the doors automatically while driving? Like the doors will lock shortly after starting the car and unlock when the car is turned off.
