Help me with my OEM alarm 2002 WRX

Just bought a 2002 WRX, but the OEM alarm system won't work. I can lock and unlock the door with the remote but can't get it arm. No flashing parking light when lock or unlock it with remote, no blinking security indicator on the cluster.

I called the previous owner, he told me he installed a third party alarm system before but the alarm system broke after six months. SO after that he gave up on the alarm both oem and the third party.

So last night I decided to take out the third party alarm system and just keep the OEM. But still the OEM alarm won't works. Maybe something to do with the wiring?

Can some one help me, my WRX doesn't have an alarm now. Maybe some one can help me to rewire the OEMs

third party alarms are somewhat difficult to give you info on fore we cannot see/touch the car and how that specific alarm was wired..However, If you can read a wiring diagram I would kind of be peeking around there..check out this site might be of some assistance... http://ken-gilbert.com/wrx/mans/7%20-%20WIRING.PDF
