Either or and as cheap as possible. This definatly isnt a "YAY!!! Now I can do a swap!!!!" kinda moment. This is a "Holy **** I need to fix this fast" moment.

Does our car have 2 heads? If I messed up the valves, can I just replace the heads? Will the 2.5 fit on? Will a 04/05 motor fit? Here are the only listing on CL in my area that could possiby work? (I have no idea...)

    $1000 if its pristine

Oh and if little bits of metal went through your motor, you need a new turbo too.

My dad is trying to tell me its just heads that I'll need? That sound right? Will the the 2.5s fit? Will the 04-05 motor bolt right in?

the 2.5 is not a straight swap. It will bolt in but then you have to do all the supporting mods, injectors, computer, tuning, convert from DBC to DBW, etc. etc. IS not horrible, but its not horribly cheap.

It could just be your heads. Yes there are two. The motor needs to be pulled to get them off do to the flat 4 config.

I must caution you, rebuilding the heads will often cost close to what a new to you motor costs.

Could be just a revalve job on the heads if your lucky. I'd plan alternate transportation (rent a cheap car from a dealer or borrow one). Get the motor out and find out what you need from there. Replace the valves and check the pistons/cylinders - you can change the pistons without cracking the block open.

Since you cant hear it run, id pass. That's close to a factory new long block.
