    i have a problem with my wrx i lose power and it backfires at the top end if i've lit her up. any ideas what this is?

    don't know. when i'm going for it the engine drops down to idle speed for a couple of seconds then i hear a bang/pop and the power comes back

    I'd try cleaning the MAF first but IDK. Search for directions before you do it though.
