    Well itll pass inspection cept for the check engline light being on because its in limp mode. I already brought it and it only failed for that. So as long as they fix why its in limp mode then its fine with me. But thanks.

    There is no way the vehicle will legally pass NYS inspection. The only way for the vehicle to pass NYS inspection would be for the mechanic to not put the vehicle on the lift, or to not care that catalytic converters are removed - both of which can cause his inspection license to be revoked.
