    G'day ya'll i own a subaru impreza wrx 2001 bugeye and have found that the top of my radiator is leaking from the crimps am i able to get this recrimped and the o-ring replaced in the top part of radiator ...from an radiator shop ? It all happened when i went to work and parked my car and found steam coming from under my hood... Temperature gauge is as normal as always and no discolor in oil and coolant is fine and no smoke from exaust. how can you tell if you have blown a head gasket if temp is still fine and oil and coolant is as normal and no smoke from exaust as i am not driving it at this present time please help tyty

    Hate to say it..but your best bet is to probably just purchase a new radiator..how many miles are on the car?...I will say if you find out if you can do this let me know because I have never heard of anyone being able to...To double check its your radiator leaking you could hook up a cooling system pressure tester and the leak should become apparent...cant hurt to double check...especially when dropping that kind of coin on a radiator...

    I had the same thing happen to mine, ended up putting an all aluminum unit in for not much more money. Shouldn't ever have to worry about it again
