Does it only do this on cold mornings, just after start up?

    How is your coolant level?

If you can demonstrate it to the dealer I would take it in and make them fix it (unless it is just on cold mornings ^)

It is probably your turbo (just a guess).

don't waste your time changing it.

Warranties are the greatest thing ever. Don't waste any of your time or money.. you have the warranty for a reason. Take her in, and make them give you a loaner car while it gets worked on.
