You know, I was wondering today what was wrong with my car and why it lagging so badly. This answers my question! I never knew that 20 degrees make such a difference.

I hate it too. But it doesn't slow me down enough. This civic annoyed the crap out of me, coming in a parking lot and blasting its music. Unlucky for him, we left the dinner place together. He tried to cover up that I kinda kicked his a** without an even an effort but I knew.

What exactly does the hot weather affect?

The intercooler. Since our intercoolers are located right above our turbos, they get heat soaked and slow our turbo spool time (i think lol).

Also the hot air is less dense than cold air. ( i dont know the rest lol)

I guess that makes sense. I need to buy one of those things that you put in your front windshield so that my car doesn't get so hot during the day. Do those actually help?

Yeah. Those things. Do they help? I mean, my windows are tinted, so that should help a little too right?

I think those sun reflectors only work when it's sunny. Tinted windows definitely dont work lol.

The best thing to do is park your car in the shade or leave your windows slightly open.

I actually saw this fan that they sold on TV that you put on your window that keeps your car cool. Dont know if it works though...

I have learned not to trust anything I've seen on TV. Ever, especially that Shamwow guy (Slap chop, whatever it is he does now.)
