sound when i depress the throttle under load

This is probably nothing, but i hear a distinct low BRRRRRRRRR sound when im on the throttle in gear, but when i rev the engine in neutral it doesnt make this sound, but it also makes this sound when i have the clutch in and i blip the throttle for rev matching. The sound is kind of sounds like an intake silencer delete but my intake is stock with the stock paper filter. My car is a 2005 saab 9-2x aero, which is the same as a wrx wagon. This is probably nothing but just wondering if anyone knows what this sound is from? It started doing this a few days ago

Do you have a boost gauge? Not the best indicator, but if it's bad enough it should register.

Though I don't see why you'd hear it when rev matching but not when revving at idle.

Look at it from a the process of dedection:

    1. In gear, clutch out, makes noise
    2. In gear, clutch in, makes noise
    3. Out of gear, no noise.

It something with the trans. Could be many things, most likely a bearing or gear. If it isn't loud, I wouldn't sweat it to much. If it gets louder, get it checked out.
