It means there is a problem and you should check your engine. If you have no modifications then it means you should immediately take it to a dealer and ask them to check it out.
No mods everything is stock!!!!!!!!
Cool then if it was purchased from a dealer then you should be covered. Take it to them. They'll hook it up to a diagnostic computer which will give them a problem code and they should be able to figure it out from there.Originally Posted by rolimtz

That does suck. If you have a auto-parts store close by then typically they may be able to pull a code for you to look up and get a clue as to why the CEL was thrown.
Oh and btw... please don't post multiple threads for the same question. hence why your threads were merged into one.
If it's a warranty issue then you may try calling Subaru and seeking guidance on the best way to handle it so as to make sure you keep your warranty.
SORRY I DONT KNOW HOW STUPID IM GOIN TO SOUND BUT HOW THE HELL DO U GET THE CODES OF YOUR PROBLEM ????????????
Go to auto zone, discount auto parts, or any type of auto store near you where they have an obdII scanner and have them read the codes.

As I already explained in your OTHER thread, normally people take it to a dealer or auto place close by and they can do it for you.
Once again, please stop creating multiple threads for the same issue.
