We were looking at it because 12 gallons of 91 and 2 gallons of e85 should equal 93.... but that's a different story.

My original idea may not be fiscally viable though...it says you would need 2.5 gallons to make a 10 gallon 93 octane tank that could get a bit expensive...lol

If you can find someone to tune you properly, you could use a meth kit.

I would not go for self mixing fuels.

The only octane booster I'd ever use is Toluene. I believe that it's sold in cans, as a paint thinner, at home improvement stores.

hmm. i looked some info on the tactrix cable.. i think it will not fit my Jdm '95 sti..

i guess it will be kinda hard to get a cable that will fit....
thats life down here... fuel here makes it kinda suck...

but i will try mixing some c or q16 with our crappy fuel..

i have a question.. does the racing fuel c16 and just plain fuel automatically mix together.. let say i have 3 to 4 gallons of c16 in a can, and i go to pompstation fill up 6 gallons of plain fuel, lets say our 85 crappy octane.. then fill the rest up with the 3 to 4 gallons of c16...

will it mix or will the c16 stays on top at the end? cause i have heard something like that in the past...

How would it be expensive if say, E85 is cheaper (roughly 105octane) than premium unleaded pump gas? You could get 85/87 octane and blend in enough E85 to make dead squirrels come back to life and 93oct, but yea, Idk... I might try it here someday, but that's a different story.

Well, if you read the whole thread, the OP is in Aruba and stated that c16 was $18 a gallon. If you multiply 18 times 2.5 you get $45, that's your price before you ever even put regular gas in it.

If you don't think it's expensive to spend over $70+ dollars per tank (minimum), then you have entirely too much money and should send some to me immediately!

Try 50 ml of each fuel in a glass container stored in a well ventilated area away from sunlight or sources of ignition.

Can you import or buy Torco? Thats supposed to be the only real octane booster. Not sure what ratio you should use be a guy on my old forum said a 6 quart pack lasted about 4-6 months.

the only octane booster i have used is the lucas oil octane booster.. actually we just purchased a dozen on ebay for 60 bucks.. way cheaper then here..

btw, we have also toluene here..

My bad, I just jumped in the middle. E85 is cheaper than pump gas usually, here in Colorado, USA.
