    Engine Knock

I need a second opinion on a motor knock. I ran my car at the track and it ran great. On my way home my check engine light went on so i pulled over and checked it out. Was pulling a bank 1 is running to lean so i got it home and turned it off. In the morning I turned it over and a horrible knock came from the motor. It sounded like I threw a rod bearing. Not sure though, any input?

Green is too big for stock internals. Can you be more specific on the sound?

How high are you reving with that valvetrain?

Without a recording it is difficult to get an idea what it might be. You might have a look at the timing belt and make sure it didn't jump some teeth. I'd say you are most likely looking at pulling your motor out though. It is crucual that you figure out why it happened or your next motor may be toasted too.
