Subaru recommends that the spark plugs in the all Subarus Turbo'd H4's and all Subarus H6's (EZ30, EZ36) get changed every 60k because they are platinum plugs....in all of Subaru's N/A boxer engines they get changed every 30k....

honestly i couldnt tell you..what i can say is that the dealership where i work has a completely different format of the recommended maintaince schedule...so im assuming it varies a little depending on the dealership.... ex: just two things i noticed...we dont replace the air filter every 15k miles, we REPLACE the PCV valve every 30k miles, and we dont wash/clean the car when its finished service (im sure theres other things different but i didnt really look).....the only thing i can think of is that maybe this dealership does do the plugs on all subarus every 30k miles.... If your worried about it you could give them a whirl yourself/ ask the service manager....there pretty straight forward...but a little time consuming...
