On cold starts not all the time but seems to be happening more often, I hear a pop coming from under the hood. Seems like its coming from the driver side. 04 wrx 58K stage 2 catted Any ideas? Clutch? Motor mount? Exhaust leak? Pop for one second then goes away.

Did notice today that the coolant overflow bottle was very low. I think i need a new radiator. I can see old dried coolant around the seams at the top of it. Think this may have anything to do with it?

What kind of pop? Like a bubble burst type pop, a backfire type pop, or an electrical circuit type pop? Or other?

Im thinking but not sure a backfire pop. I can feel it.

This sounds like a real mechanic problem, not an internet mechanic problem. Sorry.
